MP3 Player Media Detail

MP3 files in Affino Media Libraries always play by default in the MP3 Player with its extended complement of listing functions, which we will detail below.

The Player features animated EQ bars, which along with other elements (e.g. Rating Stars of the interface take an ’Accent Color’ from the Media Library Profile; otherwise the design is fixed, monochrome / grey.

The player button functions are as follows:

• Next Track

• Add to Playlist
• Share - Link | Email | Social Bookmarks

If you want a Thumbnail on your MP3, you currently need to access Media Editor to upload a relevant asset, you can also avail yourself of the excellent Amazon webservice - ’Get Album Images’ which pulls in relevant images based on your Media Title.

Pop-up Player

As well as appearing within a Media Library, the player can be included separately as a Design Element, or it can Pop-up into its own window.

A great feature of the Player are the various listing details that can be included.

• Playlist

In our example we can view the Lyrics to Gaga’s ’Fashion’ Track:

MP3 Listing

MP3 Listing Mode can be selected for MP3 files in Media Library, as on adjacent screen capture reference.

Tracks can be played / paused and added to playlist from listing; clicking a track title takes you to the Detail View - which is the Player shown at the top of this fature.

MP3 Store

You can put a price on each MP3 file and sell it for download or singular access through the Player interface.

In fact, MP3s can be sold in 3 ways in Affino:

• On-Demand - Limited singular playback access
• Subscription - Extended period and extended Music Library playback
• Downloads - Download to own

Countdown Timer

A feature we are particularly proud of is the Countdown Timer we introduced for Eric Prydz - this allows you to skip through the track and sample different parts as a DJ would, the playback is typically limited to 90 seconds - but it is a setting you can configure as you choose.
