Affino Video Player / Video Wall
The superbly versatile Affino Video Player - with its many different playback modes, can accommodate all manner of tasks, as you can see on the X-treme Video website, where the Video Wall display mode serves the Home Page, and the Store Listing mode is used to render the Video-on-Demand store within the site. We now introduce the innovation that both YouTube and Dailymotion can be played natively within the Affino Video Player, which means that you can create a video wall which blends together your own uploaded videos, with YouTube and Dailymotion -sourced video, something many of our customers have been longing to see - check out the Community Video Wall on this very site!
New Video Carousel Design Element
The image above is a live screen capture from the Community Video Carousel on this site. This displays native, YouTube and Dailymotion videos in a panel layout of your own design. The Preview state shows preview Thumbnail with Title; then when you mouse-over on the image, a play button appears which expands the playback to the panel size; a ’Full Screen’ icon allows you to go to full screen mode, where further playback controls appear. You can select number of columns and rows and orientation (Horizontal / Vertical), as well as key spacing distances, panel frame graphic and other control icons. The Video Carousel is also enabled with Store functionality, which allows you to Sell access to your Videos in the 3 classic media retail types - download, on-demand and subscription.
These new versions of Video Wall and Carousel give you 2 great new ways of aggregating and displaying your Video media. The Video Carousel is absolutely the best way to browse through and preview a large selection of videos; we look forward to the many customer implementations that will undoubtedly make use of this fine new functionality.
