We wish Eric Prydz all success with his new Affino-powered website. Designed primarily by Christopher ’Krisse’ Wijkström of Scamed, with background and header variations by Tom Mundell (Metrik). The new site has been put up very quicky, in just a matter of a couple of weeks really. The main activities have been co-ordinated by Markus Karlsson on behalf of Comrz, and Olly Chubb (Spectrum Recordings) on behalf of Eric Prydz and Sershall Management. Every single Comrz member of Staff has been involved in the build, implementing custom components, tweaks and fixes. Everything you see is fully Affino productized and available ’out-of-the-box’ bar the Gig Diary and Top 10 Downloads which have yet to been properly distilled into optionable components.
The new Eric Prydz site is a superb example of a full-featured Artist Social Platform, showcasing many of the best properties of Affino, and allowing Eric Prydz much closer and more involved contact with his fanbase. On the Home Page alone can be seen the web’s holy trinity of Community, Media and Commerce - a perfect embodiment of the totality of Social Commerce. We evolved the Video Carousel and Newsletter Signup Design Elements specifically for this site - there’s Community Media - video and photographs, as well as Full and Micro Blogs (for Twitter) and a fledgling Merchandise store. Elsewhere on the site Members can purchase MP3 downloads, and avail themselves of the full force of Social Networking and Social Media. This is just phase one of an evolving site, with several changes yet to come, and tweakage is still required on some of the internal mechanics and Icons. We hope you will be delighted by what’s in place already though. Enjoy!
